One of the most iconic/classic/popular Christmas clothing patterns is plaid. I’ve been wearing plaid during the holidays for as long as I can remember! So why not dedicate an entire blog post to this festive patterned clothing?! Enjoy browsing and lets get our #plaid on! Also, since today is Black Friday make sure to check out the two posts I wrote on all the sales going on…here and here.
I can’t begin to tell you how much I love a good, soft, oversized flannel. I think they’re amazing wardrobe staple pieces for basically any time of year. In the fall and winter I wear them buttoned up, in the spring and summer I wear them tied around my waist as a cute fashion accessory. And since we’re moving into the winter months, you bet I’ll be living in my flannels. So I thought I would put together a little flannel guide…a list (with links) to all my favorite flannels. I own (and wear often) every single one I’m going to list down below…but when I went to take pictures, it got super cloudy outside so the lighting in my apartment went wacky. I’m sorry!
Brace yourselves…the holiday season is upon us. For me, this is my absolute favorite time of year. November and December make me so happy! I tend to go a bit overboard with the decorating and the shopping and the cooking. Since I go overboard with all that, I try not to go as crazy overboard in regards to my wardrobe shopping. I do like to buy a few new staple pieces before every holiday season…things that I know I will get a lot of use out of and things that can be worn different ways or paired with different things. In this post, I wanted to share with you this year’s holiday season wardrobe staples. I am planning on doing a more in depth holiday style guide later on but I thought this would be a quick, fun post to do! Now, get your mind in that holiday spirit (and in the shopping spirit) and take a look at these holiday wardrobe staples!
Every year once the Fall season rolls around I like to update my wardrobe with some new seasonal pieces. Usually I’ll buy a sweater or two, some jeans, definitely new booties, maybe a dress if I’m feelin fancy, and some kind of coat. But then when I get them all together in my closet, they don’t really match each other…nothing looks like a complete outfit. Ugh. So I thought I would do some hunting and find 5 super cute fall outfits for under $100. These are all affordable pieces so they’re great for someone on a budget or someone just wanting to find a great deal!
Everyone loves a good bootie….not that kind of bootie…the shoe kind of bootie! Whenever I put on actual clothes (like not workout clothes or PJs) I always throw on a pair of booties. They’re super cute and are basically perfect for every occasion. So I thought I would create a fall and winter bootie guide on all my favorite booties (there are a lot so prepare yourself). At the end of this post I’ll include pictures of all the booties and the links where you can buy them. But first I want to give you a fashion show of me wearing my faves…(cue runway music) Continue reading “Fall and Winter Booties Guide”
Before we get into this post I would just like to take a moment and address the fact that as I’m writing this, it is 80 degrees and sunny outside. But I’m not going to have a pity party (even though I really want to)..I’m going to get even more excited for the Fall and Winter seasons by writing this post! I wanted to post this now, because as I was browsing some of my favorite online stores, I came across a lot of coats that were on sale. It’s always better to buy early (or before the actual season) because of these sales.
Happy happy Fall everyone!! Well I guess it’s not technically actually Fall yet…but Starbucks now has PSL’s and Target has their Fall seasonal section out…so in my book (and Starbucks and Target’s book), it’s Fall. In this post I want to share with you guys my favorite Fall pieces (and they’re mostly all affordable…yay!!). To me, Fall means snuggling up in big sweaters and flannels, lighting Bath and Body Works Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow candles, trying to persuade your boyfriend to go apple picking with you, and eating lots of Halloween candy. Before jumping into the fashion part of this post, I would just like to count how many times I said Fall in this one paragraph…7 times. That’s 6 times too many. Sorry for being so repetitive, that spiked apple cider I had earlier must have gotten to me. Kidding kidding, it’s only 3pm here…
Now onto the important fashion stuff because that’s why you all clicked on this post! Continue reading “Affordable Fall Fashion”
