How to Style Your Summer Athleisure Wear

How to Style Your Summer Athleisure Wear

Calling all queens of athleisure style!! This post is dedicated to you! I myself, am a queen of athleisure style. It’s basically what I wear all day every day and it’s been like that for years. Back in college I would go to class in workout pants, a cute workout top and sneakers pretty much every day…and nothing has changed since then! Since I work from home, I don’t have to actually get dressed in business attire every day so I usually just throw on athleisure wear.

I just find these kind of clothes to be super comfy, cute and (if styled correctly) good for a lot of occasions. Well not parties and that kind of thing of course, but if you’re going out to lunch-throw on some athleisure wear…if you’re running to the store-athleisure wear…you get the idea. I thought writing a dedicated post about this kind of style was well over-do…so here it is!!

Best Deals from the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

Best Deals from the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

Happy half-yearly sale time everyone! This is one of my favorite times of year (fashion wise) and I can’t wait to share with you guys my favorite picks from the sale! Now, Nordstrom Rack is one of my go-to stores for year round shopping. I love it because they have great quality clothing (and popular brands) for sometimes half the price than they would normally be! Don’t get me wrong, I love Nordstrom too, but for every day shopping, I think it’s too expensive. That’s why, when their half-yearly sale rolls around, I get super excited. You guys know I’m all about them sales!!

This sale is not to be confused with their anniversary sale (which in my opinion, is better than this sale). But hey, a sale is a sale am I right?! In this post, I’ve listed a bunch of my fave products with direct links to each. So let’s get ready to shop ’til we drop!

Spring Shoes Under $50

Spring Shoes Under $50

Hey guys! I am in full spring mode over here…I have flowers all over my apartment, our porch door is always open, I’m wearing pastel colored clothing constantly, and I’m obsessing over spring shoes. Once winter is over, I love bringing out my open toed booties and light espadrilles. It makes me so happy!! I’m so over the clunky boots and heavy shoes of winter. Give me all the warm weather shoes!! So as you can probably tell…this post is going to be all about my favorite spring shoes that are under $50. I try to keep my blog all about affordable goodies…which means none of these shoes will break the bank!

I’ve rounded up my 5 favorite pairs of spring shoes…some of them I’ve had for a couple of years and others I just bought a couple weeks ago. There are a couple other pairs I have my eye on (looking at you, espadrille wedges) so I might end up doing another post like this for summer because I have a feeling I’ll be buying a few new pairs of shoes in the upcoming weeks. I mean…if the shoe fits…why not buy it? Ok, I’ll stop with these terrible jokes (lol) so we can start talking about shoes!

Target: Spring Fashion Finds

Target: Spring Fashion Finds

I recently took a poll on Instagram asking if I should do a try-on session from Target or from Nordstrom Rack. Target won by a landslide, but I mean of course, who doesn’t love Targè?! So on Sunday, I went to do the try-on session and boy was I surprised. I guess I haven’t shopped for clothes at Target in a while because there were some pretty awesome finds. There’s a new brand there called Universal Thread (at least I think it’s new) and I basically loved every piece I saw of theirs. I ended up finding tons of great items and I wanted to share them with you guys here on my blog! You can also check out my Instagram try-on session here! Also, all these pieces are under $38…how awesome is that! Gotta love Target!

Nordstrom vs. Nordstrom Rack: Splurge or Save?

Nordstrom vs. Nordstrom Rack: Splurge or Save?

There’s nothing better than scoring an awesome deal. Wait…or is there nothing better than saving up and splurging on something you really want? I agree with both of those which is why I still haven’t decided which store I love more…Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack. Nordstrom Rack has some amazing deals on some awesome pieces while Nordstrom…well is just Nordstrom. In this post, I wanted to compare some very similar pieces from both of these stores and recommend whether you should splurge on the Nordstrom item or save on the Nordstrom Rack item. I also thought I would separate this into two sections…clothing and shoes. If you guys like this post then I’m thinking about doing another one but with two other sections…accessories and homeware! So let me know what you think of this kind of post in the comments down below!
